Doula Care

Pregnancy, Birth, Postpartum and Continued Care-

YOU deserve to be Nurtured!

The use of a Doula during birth has been found to greatly reduce the risk of unnecessary interventions, reduce the rate of cesarean births, shorten labor times, reduce the risk of postpartum mood disorder (PPMD), and greatly improves the overall experience for the birthing person and their partner!

As your doula my work is to help support you (and your partner) in your most intimate and vulnerable time.

I am as much there for the birthing mama as I am there for their partner. The partner is not left out of our work together. From the gentle reminders of basic self care to position suggestions- I am here for you both.

When you need help focusing, a gentle touch, or just a reminder that you ABSOLUTELY CAN DO THIS-

I GOT YOU!!

My role is to support you in your vision and your desires. I will never make decisions for you, I will never give medical advice. I will tell you what to expect, what is physiological happening, and what options you may have. This is your birth— I am here to support you however which way you choose it. Babies are born in many, many different ways! However your baby needs to be born and however you choose- I am here to support you!!!

Doula Care is for those Birthing at home, Birth Center, or Hospital.

Doula support is for mamas that are going all natural and pain med free, using pain management

(epidural, gas, IV, etc), and for surgical births (cesarean).

— Everyone deserves to feel safe, reassured and have a trained professional that will stay by their side,

hold their hand, rub their head, and tell them it is ok!! —

“Having Anna as my doula for my past two home births has been incredible. I couldn’t have done it without her!! She held sacred space for me every time I needed it. She was intuitive when I couldn’t express what I needed. She equipped my husband with the tools he needed to be my birth partner. She encouraged me to strive for the birth of my dreams and that’s just what I got. Thank you for your support. You are truly special to my family and I.” - Brenda Amaya
